1905 Dressy Reception Gown done as a tea dress for the Greater Bay Area Costumer's Guild, GBACG, Edwardian Gilded Tea event at the Garden Court at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco.

Items constructed for this costume:

Corset

White cotton duck corset with metal busk in front and metal bones. White lacing in back through buttonholes instead of grommets.

Petticoat

White cotton drawstring gored petticoat with ruffles on bottom.

Dress

White cotton/polyester eyelet dress with synthetic lace. Pearlized white buttons down back. Two capes, one of eyelet, one of lace on sleeves with white satin ribbon trim. Gathered bodice over tight lining with yoke comes to a V point in front. Ribbon trim on yoke. White satin ribbon faux tucks on bottom edge above lace ruffle. Lace drawstring sleeves with black velvet and black ribbon armbands above elbow. Black velvet girdle belting with back hook and eye closure.
